United Engineering was established in 1997 by Stephen Lynch and Justin Cowen, who continue to operate the business today.
We are located at our large premises in Surveyors Drive, Derwent Park, situated near notable local Catamaran builder and valued client, Incat. Prior to our move, we spent many years in Albert Road, Moonah, but the growth of the business and our need to expand the workforce led us to larger premises.
With a state of the art workshop and a highly skilled and qualified workforce, United Engineering is well-equipped to undertake a comprehensive range of engineering works.
Our clients are industrial, government, commercial and domestic. We are proud to have completed works for Nyrstar (Hobart Smelter), Mondelez Aust (Cadbury), Impact Fertilizers, Veolia Waste Management, SKM Recycling, Toxfree Waste management, Boral, Norske Skog, Incat, William Adams, Australian Antarctic Division, Department of Education (Tasmania) and TasWater along with many builders and contractors, landscapers and domestic customers. We provide a competitive, one-on-one service to each customer with a focus on efficiency and value.
United Engineering is committed to staff training, ensuring our team remains up to date and licensed with confined space, working safely at heights, elevated work platforms, pressure welding and more.
We are dedicated to Workplace Health and Safety and put high value on protecting our employees. We strive to maintain a harmonious, safe work environment that complies with relevant codes of practice and legislative requirements. We are serious in our activities to remain environmentally sensitive in our methods of operation.
